Our Services

The Alexander Technique is a way to 'unlearn' harmful lifetime postural habits in order find relief from and solutions for chronic pain. It addresses the root causes of spinal compression and pain.

An Alexander Technique lesson consists of learning a new way of approaching your every day movements (sitting, walking, lifting objects, sitting at your desk at work, sleep, etc). Heather will help you to recognize how your movement patterns are contributing to your recurring difficulties and pain. By analyzing your overall movement patterns instead of only the symptoms Heather goes right to the root of the issue and helps you change those patterns so you can find relief from pain. Massage Therapy

Adam is a Licensed Massage Therapist who has been practicing massage and bodywork for the past 9 years. During the early years of his career he trained under an experienced acupuncturist, furthering his understanding and application of Eastern modalities while learning techniques such as cupping and energy work. Blending these with Western modalities of bodywork has allowed Adam to help his clients over the years whether their issues have been straight-forward and common, or complicated and unique. Chronic pain, old/new injuries, compensation issues, preparing for or recovering from events, or just the need to slow down, relax and reset - Adam will tailor your appointment to your specific needs.

Pilates is a form of low-impact exercise that aims to strengthen muscles while improving postural alignment and flexibility.  Pilates emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance. Heather teaches using all of the traditional pilates equipment. She includes her knowledge of Alexander Technique and posture work in all of her sessions and designs her sessions to suit exactly what her clients need. Read more here..
